My first camp ...I remember me woke up late because the last night before the camp I didn't sleep much for the emotion , and hardly get to the bus that would take us to the place where we would camp. On the bus, the only person who I meet was my aunt she was sitting next to me; haha I know some people will find it strange that my aunt went with me , but it's not a big deal she is very nice and just a little older than me.
When we arrived at the camp, the people who was guides, called all. They said our names and our room in the "cottage", we had 15 minutes to get our room , leave our bags and order our things ; we were six girls in my room : Michelle, Clara, Karla , Susan , Evelyn (my aunt ) and me. After to the 15 minutes the guides called again, now they made five groups of eleven guys and eleven girls; this groups were for a competition, one guide told the rules and the activities to doing. According to the difficulty of the activity would be worth 5, 10 or 15 points, the team with the most points at the end of the camp would win 300 quetzales , a trophy and chocolates. So now everybody had a group, knew the rules, was the really time to start.
The first activity we did was do it a "song" and a choreography for the group. I forget what said our song, but my group won YEAH!.I honestly don't remember all activities just remember that and a obstacles race; I'll tell you this.In the first part you had to slide down a tunnel with egg and flour, then you had to roll over a field with much grass and run to the next part and all this while you were together with your group. In the second part you had to run to a circle on the ground and begin to run around the circle looking down with a stick on your forehead attached to the floor and count to ten then you run to the rest of your group, this is heard very easy but is very difficult because you were starting to feel dizzy and when you started to run everything started to spin up, so....this is very disgraceful.... but when I started run where to my group waiting, I fell....yes, very disgraceful. In the third part we had to run on a plastic part with a mixture of soap with water while you hilde a glass in your hand, in the end of the race all group had to eat 12 bananas without using hands.
This started whit exactly the bad words: Please use something that you can dirty. When everyone was "dressed", they explained the instructions of the race. The race was divided in 3 parts.
My group was the first, WE WON!!! It was a fun experience...
